Read, Sleep and Walk

For the last month it was a hell in studies...telling the truth still is. And the only things I manage to do is read, sleep and go for walks to fresh my head a bit, otherwise it is going to blow up soon!

За последний месяц учёба была адом...хотя и сейчас ничего не поменялось. И единственное что мне удаётся успевать, так это читать, спать и гулять, чтоб хоть как-то проветрить голову. Иначе она скоро взорвётся!

Beyond the Limit...

Some hard period in my uni and had no time to write in the blog... But! I simply could not stand not to share with you what I have found. Canadian based designer of Belarussian origin, Anastasia Radevich,  made me screem from delight! Four shoe collections that she has by now are something fresh and vivid. I am sure her footwear is going to go far enough...

Началось тяжеловатое, так скажем, время в моём университете и не было даже минуточки, чтобы уделить её "бложку"...Но! Мне просто надо было поделиться тем восторгом, что вызвали у меня коллекции канадского дизайнера, Анастасии Радевич, которая по происхождению является, кстати, белорусской. Всего 4 коллекции пока, но на столько веет от них свежестью и жизнью! Уверена, что её ботиночки далеко пойдут...

Back to the Beginning...

Nevertheless all the innovations and wide availability of omnifarious materials to use in Fashion Industry, Cat Potter during her Master degree studies at London College of Fashion decided to experiment and develop her shoe collection made entirely of wood! Ignoring the fact that some of the shoes do look more like a fancy piece of furniture, the designer was proud to free her creations from the formal limitations imposed by regular shoe components.

If somebody still doubts that fashion is a vicious circle that repeats again and again, think these shoes will be the last drop to close the argument.

Несмотря на инновации и широчайший выбор всевозможных материалов в индустрии моды, Cat Potter во время учёбы в Лондонском колледже моды решила поэкспериментировать и сконструировать свою коллекцию обуви полностью из дерева! Игнорируя, то что обувь больше напоминает причудливые элементы мебели и декорации, дизайнер была только рада освободить своё творение от скучных форм.

Если ещё у кого-то и остались сомнения по поводу, что мода—это замкнутый круг, то, я думаю, эти туфли будут последней и решающей каплей в этом споре.

Shoe style director of Louis Vuitton, Fabrizio Viti, gets inspiration not only from art and old music, but from dolls as well. He owns the collection of 500 dolls, which he started to collect when he was just a 3-year-old boy. The same workshop in Fiesso d'Artico, Italy, where Louis Vuitton shoes are created, is assigned to produce the same but miniature version of the collection for Fabrizio's dolls.

Who knows, maybe soon our Barbies will be wearing Louis Vuitton shoes as well...

Обувной директор бренда Louis Vuitton, Fabrizio Viti, черпает своё вдохновение ни только в искусстве и старых добрых фильмах, но и в куклах. Его кукольная коллекция состоит из 500 штук, которые он начал собирать уже в детстве, с  3 лет. А фабрика, которая находится в Fiesso d'Artico, Италии, и производит обувь французского бренда, озадачена выполнением точных миниатюрных копий туфелек для кукол Fabrizio.

Кто знает, может скоро и наши Барби забегают в таких же...
